Yesterday I wasn't doing anything at all, just walking around the supermarket with my son, and all of a sudden the right side of my very lower back began to hurt really bad. It felt more skeletal than muscular. Immediately my hip and my right leg began to hurt with every step. I woke up and it wasn't worse or better. My boss at work this morning thinks it's Sciatica. I don't really even know what that means, but I need to see a doctor and get this fixed. So my question: Should I just go to my GP, or is there a special type of doctor I should see about this? I have excellent insurance and my specialist co-pay is the same as a GP, and I also don't need referrals. Also, my insurance covers Chiropractors and Acupuncture, so if those would be better options i'm up for that. I just really don't want to waste time going to people who can't help me. Thanks for your input!... Read More »
